The Communauté de communes des Portes d’Ariège Pyrénées (CCPAP) organized a gesticulated conference on mental health on October 16, led by Élodie Libelle, to raise public awareness and destigmatize mental health issues.

The conference, held in partnership with the Pamiers Municipal Conservatory, featured Élodie Libelle sharing her sensitive and artistic testimony about her experience as a woman diagnosed with bipolar disorder. In front of an attentive audience, she discussed her challenges and the issue of confinement, inviting a different perspective on mental illness and a reflection on social factors that can destabilize human balance.
This meeting was part of the Mental Health Information Weeks (SISM), themed this year « Let's open ourselves to the arts ». These weeks aim to destigmatize mental health disorders, encourage dialogue, and promote individual and collective resources for mental well-being.
The SISM also aim to raise awareness about local resources and individuals who can provide support.
