The Communauté de communes des Portes d’Ariège Pyrénées (CCPAP), as part of its Local Health Contract (CLS), has organized therapeutic education workshops for people living with diabetes, offered by the Hygie association.

These free workshops aim to support participants in the daily management of their illness, providing them with tools to better understand diabetes and preserve their health.
Led by a multidisciplinary team including a dietitian, a sports educator, and an expert patient, the workshops favor an interactive and fun approach. Participants can discuss essential topics such as diet, physical activity, treatments, blood sugar monitoring, complication prevention, and identification of risk situations, particularly hypoglycemia.
Through this partnership with the Hygie association, the CCPAP reaffirms, within the framework of its CLS, its commitment to prevention, health promotion, and supporting residents towards a better quality of life.
