On October 1st, elected officials of the Communauté de communes des Portes d’Ariège Pyrénées (CCPAP) met in Pamiers to approve various decisions concerning housing, services to inhabitants, and support for municipalities.

The CCPAP's 2025 activity report was presented to the elected officials and is available online. Additionally, a new collective health insurance will be offered to CCPAP agents starting January 1, 2027, with a monthly contribution of €15 per agent.
The vacation schedule has been modified to include new intervention needs, notably the involvement of a psychomotrician as part of the ECLORE project, aimed at early detection of developmental disorders in children aged 0 to 12 months. These interventions are funded by the Regional Health Agency (ARS).
CCPAP continues its support for housing renovation and development. A total of 19 property owners will benefit from €31,527 in aid. €10,571 has been allocated for the renovation of three facades, and 11 homes have been supported through this scheme since the beginning of the year.
Significant subsidies have been granted for collective housing. In Gaudiès, €20,000 supports the construction of two additional social housing units. In Mazères, a €65,000 subsidy is allocated to ALOGEA for the complete renovation of the former presbytery, which will become 10 social housing units.
Nearly €30,000 has been allocated to municipalities through the 2026 co-funding mechanism for various investment projects: rehabilitation of a community building in Bonnac (€10,000), installation of a pumping station in Cante (€2,263.96), renovation of the town hall in Ludiès (€580.76), development of Avenue de la Paix in Pamiers (€10,000), energy renovation of the school in Saint-Martin-d’Oydes (€1,215.06), renovation of the church in Saint-Quirc (€2,572.15), and restoration of the banks of the Hers river in Gaudiès (€3,120).
Finally, a new internal regulation for the Saverdun waste disposal center has been approved, specifying access conditions, usage rules, and safety instructions to better assist users with sorting and using the facility.
