The Communauté de communes des Portes d’Ariège Pyrénées (CCPAP), supported by the City of Pamiers, is continuing its consultation process concerning the future of the Rijole – Villeneuve axis and the Pic business park. After several months of discussions with businesses, employees, residents, and users, two workshops are scheduled for October and November.
The consultation phase, conducted over the summer and at the start of the academic year, aimed to gather the experiences, opinions, and expectations of various users to better identify the challenges and needs related to this sector. The main results of this process are now available in a restitution document.
The initiative is now entering a new phase with two workshops designed to delve deeper into these results and collectively work on possible developments. The first workshop, dedicated to business managers in the area, will be held on Friday, October 16 at 12:30 PM at the Salle de L’Embargo (18 avenue du Femouras, Pamiers). It will allow for discussions on the consultation outcomes, the chosen objectives, and the specific needs related to the zone's operations. Confirmation is requested via email to projetrijolevilleneuve@ccpap.fr.
The second workshop, open to all users, will take place on Wednesday, November 4 at 6:30 PM at the CCPAP headquarters (11 rue Maréchal Clauzel, Pamiers). Registration is open on the project information platform: https://linktr.ee/zaePic. Residents, employees, neighbors, customers, visitors, motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians are invited to participate in this meeting focused on the future of the Rijole – Villeneuve axis.
These two working sessions will facilitate discussions on the defined objectives and explore potential technical solutions to improve the sector. This consultation is a key step in the reflection process initiated by the CCPAP and the City of Pamiers regarding this strategic area at the entrance of the town and the business park.
