The Municipality of Mazères, in partnership with the SMECTOM du Plantaurel, is distributing free 'STOP PUB' stickers to reduce the amount of unsolicited advertising in mailboxes and protect the environment.

This simple action can prevent up to 40 kg of advertising paper per year per household. By affixing this sticker, residents indicate their wish to no longer receive unsolicited advertising while continuing to receive community information.
The 'STOP PUB' stickers are available free of charge at the reception of the Mairie de Mazères and at the Saverdun waste disposal center.
This initiative is part of a collective effort to reduce waste and preserve the environment, led by the Communauté de communes des Portes d’Ariège Pyrénées and the SMECTOM du Plantaurel.
