This morning, the Espace Henry de Monfreid welcomed over 80 seniors for the Senior Forum. The event featured 17 partners who presented their services and answered attendees' questions.
Over a breakfast offered by the City, participants were able to gather information on services available to them and enjoy this time for connection and exchange.
The morning continued with the presentation of the Blue Week program by Monique Ching, Deputy Mayor for Social Cohesion and Solidarity, and Stéphanie Fay, head of the CCAS / Maison des Seniors. Also present were Véronique Vignes-Laczny, municipal councilor for Youth, CMJ, and CCAS, and Thomas Breton, France Services advisor.
From October 5 to 9, numerous events are planned for Leucate residents over 65, offering a week dedicated to movement, discovery, and social gatherings.
The municipality thanked the partners, speakers, and participants for their engagement during this morning that kicked off the Blue Week in Leucate.
