The Town of Leucate is launching a new financial aid program for young people aged 16 to 25 residing in the municipality who wish to obtain their BAFA (Brevet d’Aptitude aux Fonctions d’Animateur - Animator Aptitude Certificate).

This initiative aims to support young individuals in their journey to become animators. The municipality offers an aid of €200, which will be paid directly to the training organization chosen by the applicant.
In exchange for this financial support, beneficiaries commit to completing their practical internship within a municipal structure in Leucate. The town provides comprehensive support throughout the BAFA process, from the signing of the agreement to the final review, including a visit to the internship site.
Please note that the number of available grants is limited to 5 per year. Applications will be processed and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
For more information or to submit an application, interested young people can contact the youth department via email at: jeunesse@mairie-leucate.fr.
