Since October 26th, young people aged 6 to 25 residing in the communes of the Millau Grands Causses Community of Communes can travel to Millau for 1 euro thanks to the On-Demand Transport (TAD) service.

This new pricing aims to facilitate youth mobility, allowing them easier access to services, leisure, and employment. The round trip is set at 2 euros. For individuals over 25, the fare remains 3 euros for a one-way trip and 5 euros for a round trip, while children under 6 (accompanied) travel for free.
TAD is presented as one of the few accessible mobility solutions for unaccompanied individuals under 18 outside the Millau-Creissels area, as other services like electric bike rentals, carpooling, or solidarity transport are reserved for adults. A survey conducted in spring 2026 highlighted this need for youth autonomy.
Trip reservations must be made the day before by 4:30 PM. Those over 15 can book online or by phone at 05 65 73 40 49. For those under 15, online booking is mandatory and must be made by the legal representative.
Since its revamp in 2025, the TAD service operates on 3 lines serving the Gorges du Tarn, Causse Noir Dourbie and Larzac, and the Vallée du Tarn. It runs from Monday to Saturday, with arrivals in Millau/Creissels at 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM (and Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:00 AM), and departures from Millau/Creissels at 12:30 PM and 6:00 PM.
Each line has 15 to 25 stops, supplemented by about twenty drop-off points in the Millau/Creissels urban area, facilitating connections with the free urban bus network Mio.
Christophe Carrat, Vice-President of the Community of Communes for Mobility, emphasized that this measure is an essential lever for addressing territorial equity for young people in the Grands Causses communes.
