The performance, divided into four acts guided by cardinal points (Cádiz & los puertos – Levante – Serranía – Triana), promises a contemporary, fresh, and accessible flamenco experience for everyone. Cie Mathilde Antón, active since 2015, champions a powerful and expressive flamenco style capable of engaging a wide audience, from aficionados to the simply curious.
Although the four artists on stage draw their roots from traditional flamenco, they also explore various other musical styles. Alberto Garcia collaborates with classical pianist Alexandre Tharaud and jazz musician Louis Winsberg. Leny Creff brings in influences from rock, funk, and jazz guitar, while Juan Manuel Cortés engages with artists from diverse backgrounds, including French popular music. Mathilde Antón, for her part, participates in jazz projects with the Bernard Van Rossum Big Band and classical guitar duos.
The show will feature Alberto Garcia and Melchior Campos on vocals, Leny Creff on guitar, Juan Manuel Cortés on percussion, and Mathilde Antón on dance.
