Following intense precipitation, the circulation of all motor vehicles is prohibited in several sectors of the municipality of Aigues-Mortes. This restriction does not apply to service, rescue, and emergency vehicles.
The streets affected by this ban include: rue du Vistre, rue des Lilas, rue de la Pinède, Bd interieur Sud, Faubourg National, Faubourg de la Fraternité, av Frederic Mistral (from the stadium to chemin du Bosquet), chemin du Mas d’Avon, and rue de Bérénice.
Furthermore, the following areas are to be avoided: rue Amiral Courbet, rue Rouget de l’Isle, and rue Victor Hugo.
Elected officials and municipal services remain mobilized to manage the situation. The town hall advises residents to avoid non-essential travel and to remain cautious.
