The Amitié Loisirs club kicks off the festivities on Friday, October 2nd with its monthly singing evening, starting at 7 PM at the old town hall. Open to everyone, it will take place in a friendly atmosphere with a bring-your-own-food picnic.
Saturday, October 3rd promises to be particularly busy. The CaissarguesChessClub is organizing a double chess tournament from 10 AM to 5 PM in the Salle Bedos: the Caïssa trophy, exclusively for women, and the 4th edition of the "Tournoi des Fous" (Tournament of Fools), FFF homologated. Registration is free for the Caïssa trophy and costs €20 for adults and €10 for juniors for the "Tournoi des Fous". The tournament will be refereed by Christo Dimitrov. Refreshments and fast food will be available.
On the afternoon of Saturday, October 3rd, from 2 PM to 7 PM, the Boulodrome will host a grand intergenerational pétanque competition, organized in honor of the centenary of the Boule d’Ivoire. Participation is €3 (free for under 14s). Surprise prizes and an aperitif offered by Allianz Assurance will reward the players. That same evening, at 8:30 PM, the troupe Les Electrons Libres will perform the play Des gens intelligents (Intelligent People) to benefit the association Caissarg’toncoeur. This charity event aims to support the victims of the recent fires in Le Porge, Gironde. Admission is €10. The performance will take place in Salle Aldebaran, Zone Euro 2000.
On Sunday, October 4th, the municipality of Caissargues promises an unforgettable day with an unprecedented soapbox derby race. From 10 AM to 5 PM, young and old are invited to race down the track in a festive atmosphere, with musical entertainment, food, and drinks.
On Tuesday, October 6th, Salle Bedos will host a blood donation drive from 2 PM to 7 PM. This event is part of Octobre Rose (Pink October), highlighting the vital importance of blood donation, especially for patients weakened by treatments such as those for breast cancer. New and regular donors are warmly encouraged to participate. Appointments are recommended via https://efs.link/QpBa4. Donors must be over 18, weigh at least 50 kg, and be in good health.
Finally, as part of the Semaine Bleue (Blue Week), the CCAS of Caissargues is organizing a Memory Workshop on Wednesday, October 7th, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM, in Salle Bedos.
