Starting Wednesday, October 14, 2026, five recycling centers within the Agglomeration will offer free compost distribution to residents, a step in the '100% Composting Territory' project.

As part of its '100% Composting Territory' initiative, the Agglomeration is making a valuable resource available to residents for their gardens. Starting Wednesday, October 14, 2026, five recycling centers in the area will provide free compost distribution.
This compost, derived exclusively from plant matter, is an excellent natural soil amendment for enriching gardens and promoting plant growth. Each individual can collect up to 500 liters, subject to availability and provided they bring their own containers.
This initiative complements existing actions, including the free provision of compost bins and worm composting bins since 2023, aimed at encouraging source separation of organic waste.
