Starting October 1st, residents of Nîmes Métropole will need to register online to access the territory's 15 waste disposal centers as part of a modernization effort to optimize waste sorting and management.

To simplify access to the territory's 15 waste disposal centers and improve sorting quality, Nîmes Métropole is continuing its modernization work. A new access system will be implemented from October 1st, requiring online registration to create a personal account.
This new account will soon allow access to all of the Agglomeration's waste disposal centers. New features include guaranteed access to all sites and secure entry via automated license plate recognition.
Online registrations are open from this Thursday, October 1st. For professionals, registration will be handled at a later date, and information will be provided in due course.
This comprehensive modernization is part of the strategy launched since 2023 to optimize public waste management services, enhance material valorization, reduce waste, strengthen sorting support, and simplify user relations.
