For Pink October, the town of Lectoure is actively engaged in partnership with the League Against Breast Cancer. The aim is to enhance prevention, screening, and awareness surrounding breast cancer.
Several actions are planned throughout the month to inform the public, bring citizens together, and demonstrate solidarity. Key events include an activity at the Lectoure market on October 16th, followed by an 8 km solidarity walk on October 17th. Other initiatives will also punctuate this month of mobilization.
The municipality wishes to warmly thank the shopkeepers of Lectoure who participated actively by decorating their shop windows in pink, thereby helping to increase the visibility of this important cause.
The call is made to make October a strong month of collective awareness and solidarity.
