The town of Aucamville hosts the eleventh edition of the Les Animés festival, dedicated to animation cinema, which explores the world of tomorrow through screenings, exhibitions, and workshops.

Organized by the association EIDOS, in partnership with the Mairie d'Aucamville and Mira Cinémas, the festival invites all ages to discover animation in its various forms. This year's theme is "the world of tomorrow," examining our planet and interactions through films and workshops focused on ecology, diversity, and inclusivity.
Numerous artists will engage with students, arts and cinema students, and the public. Exhibitions include "Le Livre s’anime" at the Médiathèque Luciano Sandron from October 16 to November 14, showcasing the secrets of stop-motion film production. The Cinéma Jean Marais will host "Black-Box" on November 12 and 13, a reconstruction of regional short film creation workshops with the directors present.
Screenings include "Carmen, l’oiseau rebel" by Sébastien Laudenbach as a preview on Thursday, November 12 at 8 PM. On Friday, November 13 at 8:30 PM, a "concert dessiné" will feature comic author Laurent Bonneau and musician Tarik Chaouach. On Saturday, November 14 at 3:30 PM, the short film program "Le Monde à l’envers" is for younger audiences, followed by a film made in school workshops.
Introduction to animated image workshops are also planned. On Thursday, November 12, the ANIMATHLON, a large animated exquisite corpse, is for students and film professionals, requiring registration at the Salle Georges Brassens. On Friday, November 13, professional meetings will be held at the Cinéma Jean Marais from 1:30 PM to 6 PM, with guest of honor Laurent Bonneau, discussing adaptation and film creation processes.
