On September 28, 2026, a gathering of patrons, donors, partners, and laureate structures of the OCC’YGÈNE Fund took place in Vias, Hérault. The event, hosted at the invitation of Vincent Garel, President of the Governance Council of the Occ’ygène Fund, and Denis Maurer, President of the Governance Council of the Essentiem fund, was held at the Fabrikus World amusement park. This venue, a partner of the fund for several years, welcomed corporate patrons to share experiences with the organizations benefiting from their support.
Launched in 2023, the OCC’YGÈNE Fund supports public interest projects in tourism, leisure, solidarity, and environmental sectors through corporate patronage. Over three years, funded initiatives have reached 3,000 beneficiaries, organized 176 outings and activities, mobilized 95 visiting and discovery sites across 11 departments, and involved 454 support staff (employees and volunteers) as well as 127 partners from social, environmental, and educational sectors. These actions are deployed throughout the 13 departments of Occitanie, supporting 49 laureate structures.
Among the supported programs are « Les clés de la planète » (The Keys to the Planet), which introduces young people to environmental issues and discovery of new places, « Gîtes solidaires en Occitanie » (Solidarity Holiday Rentals in Occitanie), benefiting families supported by the Secours populaire (Popular Relief), and « Tous en Bateau » (All Aboard), aimed at children with neurodevelopmental disorders and their families.
For companies, joining the OCC’YGÈNE Fund represents a concrete expression of their social responsibility, by supporting local projects. The operation relies on a collective dynamic where companies finance projects selected through calls for proposals, uniting economic actors, associations, social structures, environmental organizations, and local authorities. Since the beginning of the year, five new patrons from the AD’OCC network have joined the fund. Seven patrons and donors renewed their commitment during the meeting, signing new agreements: G2A Consulting, Fabrikus World, Gîtes de France Occitanie, Les Dissidents, GL Toulouse Events, Cité Hôtels, and Laëtis.
