The municipality of Venerque has been informed by Enedis about the upcoming implementation of vegetation clearing work under the medium-voltage power lines present in its area. These operations, commissioned by the public electricity distribution network operator, aim to reduce combustible vegetation.
The primary objective of this Legal Obligation to Clear Vegetation (OLD) is to mitigate fire risk and ensure the safety of electrical installations. The work will be performed by a qualified company in accordance with current regulations.
The company Coterram has been contracted by Enedis to carry out these operations. Work is scheduled to commence on September 30, 2026.
