Ten years after the initial restoration of the riverbed and right bank of the Hers in Grenade, an impact study conducted in 2024 has evaluated the river's functionalities. These assessments now lead to a complementary renaturation project, which includes the left bank.

These major works were carried out in partnership with CDC Biodiversité, the owner of the left bank. The bank was softened, 4600 tons of alluvial materials were deposited in the riverbed, and several channels, islets, and groynes were created. These developments aim to combat riverbed erosion and diversify water flow.
Finally, 450 trees and shrubs were planted to diversify and enhance the riparian vegetation.
