This national event aims to raise awareness about pediatric cancers, diseases that affect approximately 2,500 children and adolescents each year in France. These cancers remain the leading cause of death by disease among children over one year old, despite therapeutic advances.
Thanks to the involvement of local businesses, the Parents' Association, and residents, several hundred euros were raised. These funds will be donated to the association Toulouse Recherche Enfant Cancer (TREC), which works in research and clinical trials to combat these diseases.
The mobilization continues until October 10th with an online fundraiser set up by the APE Souris Petit Colibri. Donations can be made online via the link: donate online HERE.
