From Friday, November 6th to Sunday, November 8th, a national collection by Food Banks is taking place in numerous supermarkets across France. The Social Action Centre (CCAS) of Merville is joining this initiative and will be present alongside volunteers this Friday, November 6th and Saturday, November 7th at the Intermarché stores in Merville and Saint-Paul-sur-Save.
Each month, the Merville Social Centre distributes approximately 100 food aid packages to families in need, supported by the CCAS. To assemble these packages, members rely in particular on the Food Bank of Haute-Garonne.
The Merville Town Hall invites citizens to give a warm welcome to the volunteers mobilized at the store entrances and thanks them in advance for their generosity.
