Yesterday, about twenty residents of Quint-Fonsegrives met with elected officials from the Citizen Dialogue commission for a workshop focused on the future of neighborhood councils. These bodies, established nearly 20 years ago, play a crucial role in local democratic life. The objective of this meeting was to collectively consider their evolution to better meet current expectations.
The discussions revolved around three main questions: defining the role of a neighborhood council, methods for animating these bodies and strengthening their effectiveness, and communication tools to better convey residents' concerns and ideas.
Participants shared their experiences and put forward numerous proposals, expressing their desire to actively contribute to their neighborhood's life. The town hall thanked those present for the quality of the exchanges, as well as David Lestrade, delegate councilor for citizen dialogue, and elected officials Ariane Scheddel, Charlotte Romand, and Stéphanie Temel-Chapelle for their facilitation.
