November 5th marks the National Day Against School Bullying, an initiative focused on raising awareness about respect, empathy, and prevention among students, families, and educational teams. In Roques, a concrete action was launched in March 2026 through the Youth Municipal Council's (CMJ) project: The Butterfly Mailboxes.
These mailboxes are installed in the Yvette Raynaud elementary school and within the Lamartine school group. They offer students an anonymous and secure means of expression to share their concerns.
The system is straightforward: each week, messages left by students are collected by an external facilitator and then confidentially forwarded to the association Les Papillons. This association then ensures the necessary listening and support for the children.
For more information or to contact the youth service, the address is Rue du Vieux Colombier. The phone numbers are 05 34 56 07 73 and 06 49 19 64 88, and the email address is espace-jeunesse@mairie-roques.fr.
During school terms, the service is available on Wednesdays from 2 PM to 6 PM. During school holidays, hours are extended from Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 1 PM and 1:45 PM to 6 PM.
