Thanks to the mobilization and generosity of numerous local stakeholders, the day was marked by a wave of solidarity, culminating in a charity concert that closed the event on a festive note. The collected donations will support the ARSE association (regional association of socio-aestheticians), which notably works to provide home care for patients with breast cancer. Visitors also benefited from the expertise of these professionals throughout the day through massages.
Many associations and partners were involved: the Club Bon Accueil organized a solidarity lottery, the Club de couture et d’activités manuelles crafted drain bags and a banner, Sur un air de patch created heart-shaped cushions, ASSMAT Roques contributed to a mural, and FA Roques donated proceeds from its refreshment stand and €1 per goal scored by its teams.
Socio-aestheticians from ARSE were present to lead collective and individual care workshops. The hairdresser Aux Cheveux Dormants offered haircuts to benefit the creation of custom medical wigs.
The day was enlivened by volunteers from the Maison pour Tous and the EPIDE center, Carole de Chica Loca Dance, the Bonnets Givrés collective, Jean-Claude Casagrande, and Dr. Mahaie. A charity concert featuring Marie, Roxy, and Éric concluded the event. Elected officials and municipal agents were also mobilized for the success of this day.
The town hall of Roques, through its CCAS, emphasizes that every gesture counts and that solidarity grows stronger together. For more information, the CCAS can be contacted at Place Jean Jaurès.
