The City of Saint-Orens-de-Gameville is offering a BAFA-Citizen scholarship for individuals aged 16 and above who wish to become youth leaders. This initiative aims to support candidates in obtaining their diploma.
The next general training session, organized in partnership with Afocal, will take place from October 24 to 31, 2026. The complete BAFA program includes three stages: 8 days of general training to acquire the basics, a 14-day practical internship in a local leisure center, and an advanced training course to finalize the program.
The City covers a significant portion of the general training costs. In return, beneficiaries commit to completing between 30 to 35 hours of volunteer work and participating actively in local life.
Registration is open until October 13, 2026. A selection jury will convene on October 14, with results announced on October 16. An information meeting is scheduled for October 21 at 2 PM at Info Jeunes, Villa Massot.
To apply, it is mandatory to register on the national BAFA website to obtain a candidate number. The application form must then be completed and sent to pij@mairie-saint-orens.fr.
