On September 25th, new entrants to the laboratories of the Midi-Pyrénées Observatory (OMP) participated in their welcome day at the Pic du Midi, an exceptional site in the heart of the Pyrenees.
After an early departure from Toulouse, participants took the cable car to the summit. The morning was dedicated to presenting the OMP, its missions, and services, followed by visits to scientific facilities, including astronomy and atmospheric observation instruments.
The lunch break and free exploration of the site allowed for further exchanges and enjoyment of the exceptional panorama offered by the Pic du Midi.
Beyond discovering scientific activities and equipment, this day provided an opportunity for new staff to meet each other, better understand their work environment, and build initial connections within the OMP community.
This day, rich in discoveries and exchanges, marks the beginning of a new professional adventure for the new entrants of the OMP.
