The Centre for Integrative Biology (CBI) is opening its doors to the public for a Night of Science. This event will allow visitors to explore laboratories and engage in various practical workshops led by scientists.
These workshops aim to shed light on the scientific themes developed at the CBI, focusing on understanding the functioning of living organisms. Participants can discover multidisciplinary (biology, mathematics, computer science), multi-scale (from molecules to whole organisms and animal societies), and multi-model (from bacteria to humans) approaches, as well as the technological platforms supporting this research. A presentation of research careers will also be offered.
The Toulouse Institute for Computer Science Research (IRIT) will be represented at this event by Pierre Weiss, Florian Sarron, and Minh Hai Nguyen, members of the Signals and Images (SI) department and the SC team.
