The Centre de biologie intégrative (CBI) in Toulouse is organizing its Science Night on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 6 PM to 11 PM. This event aims to introduce the general public to the world of scientific research, the behind-the-scenes of laboratories, and the professionals in the field.
The program includes interactive workshops to explore the research conducted at the laboratory, such as observing bacteria, DNA, cells, brains, and fish. Mini-conferences followed by Q&A sessions will allow participants to delve into the latest scientific advancements in molecular and cellular biology, microbiology, neuroscience, and virtual reality.
The event will also feature meet-and-greets for direct exchange with research staff about their daily lives and careers. Guided tours of the laboratories and technical platforms will be offered to explore the daily research environment.
This evening presents a unique opportunity to understand research challenges, discover science careers, interact with enthusiasts, and potentially find a future vocation. Admission is free, open to the general public, and accessible to people with reduced mobility (PMR).
