The toilets in the Jardin de l’You have once again been vandalized. The paper dispenser was torn out, and the door was slashed. Unfortunately, this is not the first time these malicious acts have occurred, leading to total indignation.
This high-quality facility, completed just a few months ago, was designed to offer the residents of Lourdes a pleasant and quality amenity. Seeing this development degraded is révolting. How can we accept that public facilities, recently renovated, are targeted in this way?
Behind these installations is the work of the Town's agents, who invest themselves daily in maintaining public spaces. Their commitment deserves respect, not to be nullified by irresponsible acts.
Let us not forget that these facilities are financed by the money of the Lourdais, meaning our taxes. Every act of vandalism represents a cost for the entire community, to the detriment of other projects and services.
Let us respect the work of our agents, respect our public spaces, and respect the taxpayers' money.
