On the occasion of Pink October, the town of Séméac is organizing the first edition of the Soirée dansante en Rose (Pink Dance Evening) on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Centre Léo Lagrange. This festive and solidarity event aims to inform, prevent, and support the fight against breast cancer.
From 3:30 PM, the public can explore various association and health prevention stands. The day will feature several highlights: the League Against Cancer at 4 PM, a Tai Chi demonstration at 4:30 PM, a fitness initiation at 5:30 PM, a talk by Les Jolis Cœurs at 6:30 PM, and a line dance initiation at 7 PM. The dance evening will commence at 8 PM.
Additional activities include a raffle with numerous prizes, a 'most beautiful pink outfit' contest, and light catering and refreshments. A donation box will also be available to support the cause.
This day is an invitation to gather and act together for breast cancer prevention and screening. Free participation will help support the fight.
Practical information: Doors open at 3:30 PM, dance evening starts at 8 PM. Entry is free with optional participation.
