The City of Agde officially established a partnership on October 21st with the local solidarity initiative 'L'Heure Civique', marking a strengthened civic commitment and making the town a pilot city for an innovative intergenerational transmission project.

The signing of this agreement took place in the panoramic hall of the Palais des Congrès Cap d'Agde Méditerranée. This initiative allows citizens to dedicate one hour of their time per month to help the community or their neighbors.
In the presence of numerous officials, including Mayor Aurélien Lopez Aurélien, Deputy Bernard Chaumeil, Deputy Mayor Carole Raynaud, Municipal Councilor Georges Grimaud, as well as Atanase Périfan, co-creator of 'L'Heure Civique', and Guillaume Besson, creator of the startup 'Eléfantia', this agreement highlights the town's civic engagement.
Agde will thus experiment with a new approach to intergenerational transmission thanks to 'Eléfantia', a French company that has developed an AI-assisted writing platform. This platform aims to preserve and transmit the life stories of elders.
The goal is to share personal history, build connections, and foster solidarity between generations, making this value a true way of life in Agde.
