The city of Frontignan la Peyrade has concluded its mobilization for Pink October 2026, a month dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, marked by a series of solidarity and prevention initiatives organized by the municipality, associations, and local stakeholders.

Throughout October, Frontignan vibrated with a collective mobilization against breast cancer. The city, alongside associations, the municipality, and local actors, offered a multitude of varied initiatives: sports, solidarity, prevention, and well-being.
Starting on October 3rd, the club Aresquiers Subaquatiques launched the festivities with Des Bulles pour Elles, a photo exhibition, a coastal walk, a snack, and a solidarity raffle for the Fondation ARC. On the same day, Body Form offered a fitness circuit and a free yoga class.
On October 4th, the Zumba Rose organized by the city's sports animation service livened up the day. In parallel, GV Oxygène and the Lion’s Club Sète Saint-Clair offered a solidarity walk at Les Mouettes, featuring stands and a snack, with free participation donated to a cancer-fighting association.
From October 5th to 7th, the association Reïki offered well-being workshops including aromatherapy, dietetics, coaching, hypnosis, magnetism, meditation, reiki, and stick qi gong.
On October 9th, the Jean-Piaget care home organized a solidarity walk and sold pink bows made by its residents, for the benefit of the Ligue contre le cancer.
On October 10th, YogaMoon made an impact with Femmes du monde, a solidarity day in partnership with the Montpellier Institut du Sein (MIS), featuring well-being workshops, yoga, Zumba, afrovibe, heels, sound relaxation, a raffle, and messages of support.
On October 13th, Scopie / La Hune and Femmes en Languedoc-Roussillon led a discussion on female cancers and screening, with the participation of a volunteer doctor from the Ligue contre le cancer.
On October 17th, Carma Family addressed prevention, screenings, nutrition, mental load, and local resources with the workshop Mom, and you, who takes care of you?. InTempo also donated the proceeds from an afro dance class to the Groupe échange et écoute cancer (GEEC) of Balaruc.
On October 20th, the association Vivre à la maison de retraite held a merchandise stand at the solidarity café. The Cinéma Quai des Lumières screened the film Coutures by Alice Winocour, followed by a discussion with expert patient Ludivine Degand and clinical psychologist Carole Duvoy-Manlhiot.
Finally, on October 30th, the Espace de Vie Sociale Albert-Calmette organized a solidarity lottery.
Throughout the month, the Hôtel de Ville and the annex town hall of La Peyrade were illuminated in pink. The EVS Albert-Calmette and its volunteers sold their creations at the markets, while l’ACAL, Ciseaux et dés d’argent, and Un point c’est tout made "heart cushions" and "poches à redo" for the benefit of the Montpellier Institut du Sein (MIS).
Other initiatives punctuated this Pink October 2026, such as workshops by Pilates, Hell danse, and other activities offered by Yoga Moon and O’Studio, the raffle by Pêche sportive Frontignanaise, or dance initiations by the Cercle Andalou.
The football teams of ASFAC wore pink jerseys and armbands during their home matches, and animations accompanied the women's games.
All these actions raised several thousand euros, which will be donated to organizations fighting breast cancer.

"This year again, Pink October was an opportunity to foster solidarity throughout the city, thanks to solidarity sales, artisanal creations, and awareness actions led by the City, associations, and local actors. A beautiful demonstration of collective commitment for an essential cause."
