Sète Agglopôle Méditerranée has initiated a broad consultation process to develop its Territory Project, inviting residents, elected officials, associations, businesses, and local stakeholders to collectively define priorities and a roadmap for the coming years.

The objective is to listen, share a diagnosis, define priorities, and build a collective roadmap. The proposals gathered will be analyzed by elected officials and services to identify feasible actions.
The process revolves around three essential questions: Where are we now? to understand the territory's realities and challenges; Where do we want to go? to define major priorities; and How do we get there? to transform ideas into concrete actions.
The first phase, from June to September 2026, established an initial assessment, supplemented by a survey of 80 residents. Testimonies were then publicly presented at the Forum in Balaruc-le-Vieux on September 26, 2026.
The second phase, dedicated to citizen dialogue, is taking place from October to December 2026. Teams will meet with residents, paying particular attention to young people, families, workers, and economic actors. A series of seven public meetings will also be organized, including one in Frontignan la Peyrade, at the Salle de l’Aire, on Tuesday, November 17 at 6:30 PM (welcome from 6 PM).
These meetings will allow for discussions on major inter-municipal priorities and collective work on concrete proposals.
The third phase, from December 2026 to January 2027, will focus on synthesis and decision-making. Contributions will be analyzed for feasibility, before mayors and community elected officials debate and validate the main orientations of the Territory Project during the Community Council at the end of January 2027.
Finally, the fourth and last phase, starting in February 2027, will open the restitution and implementation stage. A public meeting will present the chosen orientations and how residents' contributions have shaped the project, guiding public policies and investments, with a new meeting scheduled for the start of the 2027 academic year.
