From October 10, 2026, to February 21, 2027, the Centre régional d’art contemporain Occitanie in Sète hosts the exhibition "Maison-Main," a creation by Christian Rizzo and Anne-Laure Lestage.

Conceived by choreographer Christian Rizzo and exhibition curator Anne-Laure Lestage, the "Maison-Main" exhibition offers a fictional and sensory journey into the realm of our gestures. The exhibition explores the "house-hand" as a space where permanent gestures and unsuspected imaginary narratives coexist, blending human absence and presence through recent and older works.
Three works on display come from the collection of the Frac Occitanie, including the monumental sculpture Bi-Logis (2000) by Daniel Firman. This piece, made of plaster, steel, and twine, is accompanied by a soundtrack of the performer's breaths. It materializes an invisible gestural perimeter, echoing the concept of the kine-sphere theorized by Hungarian dancer Rudolf Laban (1879-1958).
This exhibition is the second part of the touring project "Une assemblée des gestes" (An Assembly of Gestures), initiated by Christian Rizzo. Following an initial presentation in Pantin, "Maison-Main" continues to explore the richness of gestures and their connection to thought and creation.
