The Minervois au Caroux Tourist Office hosted this Thursday, October 15th, the departmental day for Accueil Vélo label holders. The event, organized by Hérault Tourisme, took place at the village hall in Mons-la-Trivalle and the Maison des Montagnes du Caroux. Around fifty participants, from across the Hérault department, had the opportunity to discover the welcome offered by the Tourist Office, itself Accueil Vélo labeled, as well as its facilities dedicated to cyclists.
The program for this meeting included an update on cycle tourism, followed by exchanges and sharing of experiences on welcoming cyclists, their needs, and concerns. A review of route dissemination platforms was also on the agenda. The morning concluded with a buffet prepared by a local caterer.
This annual meeting highlights the commitment of local stakeholders to cycle tourism, a booming sector, and the dynamism of the cycling hospitality offer in Hérault. It also showcases the investments made by the Communauté de Communes in outdoor activities, particularly cycling. The territory, already a laureate of the « Terres de Vélo » label, is now also labeled « Destination France à vélo », alongside the Communauté de Communes du Grand Orb.
