The Roueïre estate is extending its cultural influence by partnering with the Livres en Scène event in Bayssan, strengthening ties between cultural institutions in Hérault.

The Roueïre estate, a Centre for Arts and Heritage, is broadening its reach beyond Sud-Hérault by collaborating with the Livres en Scène event in Bayssan. This partnership aims to create connections with other cultural facilities in the Hérault department.
At the heart of this encounter, Carine Hullo, a visual artist associated with Roueïre since 2017, shared her artistic universe. Her work and workshops, inspired by the bestiaries found in the painted ceilings of Capestang, explore fantastic animals, hybrid creatures, and metamorphoses.
Last Saturday in Bayssan, Carine Hullo led the workshop « Le livre métamorphose » (The Metamorphosis Book). This session invited families to discover artist books before creating their own around the theme of fabulous and fantastic animals.
This collaboration marks the beginning of a new partnership focused on artist books. Soon, Roueïre will host an exhibition of artist books as part of the « Prière de toucher » (Please Touch) event and its associated competition, demonstrating the flow of projects and ideas between Roueïre and Bayssan.
