These works aim to secure infrastructure, improve network pressures, and bring fire external defense equipment into compliance. The Bouzenac reservoir, located on avenue des Genévriers, will be demolished and rebuilt. These operations are part of the drinking water supply infrastructure rehabilitation program led by the Grand Pic Saint-Loup Community of Communes, in conjunction with the municipality of Saint-Clément-de-Rivière.
Additionally, sector pipes will be rehabilitated to strengthen network reliability and improve service quality, particularly regarding water pressure. A second phase is planned for spring 2027, focusing on modifying the overpressurized sector perimeter supplied by the reservoir. This operation will require, as needed, permutations and/or renewals of drinking water connections, as well as the installation of additional sectorization valves.
The streets affected by these pipe works are: avenue des Genévriers, rue du Bosquet, rue des Amandiers, rue des Chênes, rue du Mail, impasse des Elfes, rue et impasse des Cèdres. During construction hours (8 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 5 PM), occasional traffic disruptions are possible. The contracting company will ensure continuous access for residents and emergency vehicles.
Measures will be taken to limit noise and dust nuisance. Demolition will use a crushing grab to reduce dust and noise. Earthmoving trucks will have sealed bins, and their wheels will be cleaned if necessary. Public paths and roads will be cleaned. The temporary recycling drop-off point will be moved to the entrance of impasse des Frênes.
