The main goal of this sporting and solidarity initiative is to raise public awareness and collect donations for the association L’Alpha de Victor. This organization supports Victor, a young boy suffering from fucosidosis, an extremely rare genetic disease affecting fewer than 200 people worldwide.
Beyond the athletic performance, this challenge aims to strengthen ties between the various municipalities of the Métropole. It fosters exchanges between elected officials, municipal services, municipal police forces, and residents, while supporting a significant humanitarian cause.
During their route, the runners made a stop in Pignan. A meeting point was set up in front of the town hall by the Métropole's sports department. This break provided an opportunity for a convivial moment of exchange with residents, in the presence of local officials and municipal agents.
