As part of Blue Week, the town of Portiragnes organized an intergenerational afternoon where seniors and preschool children participated in painting and cooking workshops.

On Tuesday, the town of Portiragnes, through its CCAS under the responsibility of Marine Séguret, celebrated Blue Week with an afternoon focused on intergenerational sharing. Seniors met with preschool children after school to participate in two creative workshops.
The first workshop was dedicated to painting, where young and old alike unleashed their imaginations to create joint artworks. Simultaneously, a cooking workshop allowed participants to prepare delicious wraps together in a joyful and friendly atmosphere.
These intergenerational moments fostered exchanges, knowledge transfer, and the pleasure of sharing a common activity. The event was attended by Philippe Toulouze, deputy mayor for Solidarities, Health, and Prevention, as well as members of the CCAS.
The municipality extended its warm thanks to the seniors, children, preschool teams, and all individuals who contributed to the success of this wonderful encounter between generations.
