The project addresses the expansion of the Community of Communes' responsibilities and the evolution of its territory. The current Intercommunal Technical Center (CTI) had become too small and inadequate. Dispersing services across various sites led to logistical challenges and limited resource sharing. The decision was made to redevelop the existing CTI site to create this new technical hub.
The future center will house the Intercommunal Technical Center, the Territorial Development Department, the Buildings and Roadworks Department, the Eau du Pic Water Authority, and the Economic Development Department. Reception areas for users of the Water and Technical Center services, including waste collection inquiries, and a dedicated reception for travelers will also be included.
Bringing these services together on a single site will foster synergies, enable resource pooling, and streamline daily operations. Staff will benefit from more suitable premises, and users will have more functional reception spaces.
The building will span over 2,700 m², featuring offices, changing rooms, and communal areas. Existing workshops will also be fully renovated. This project will increase office space from the current 193 m² to premises designed for the long-term support of intercommunal services. The building is designed with a focus on environmental performance, holding a BDO Gold label during the design phase, emphasizing energy efficiency, modularity, and quality.
