This afternoon, severe weather affected the town of Valergues. As a safety precaution, the municipality has decided to close several roads and passages deemed vulnerable.
The currently inaccessible areas include the Chemin des Lognes (towards the Jasses industrial zone), the Gué du Chemin des Olivettes, the beginning of Avenue du Petit Nice, as well as the Chemin de Saint-Brès and the Chemin de Sommières.
The instruction is clear: it is imperative not to cross any barriers or prohibition signs and to absolutely avoid these areas.
For tomorrow, Thursday, the town is awaiting official directives from the Hérault Prefecture. A new announcement will be made upon receipt of information regarding schools, transportation, and any measures to be maintained.
