To mark Pink October 2026, the Town of Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone is launching a breast cancer awareness campaign. The forecourt of the Town Hall and the Place des Héros will become dedicated areas for information, mobilization, and support, emphasizing the importance of screening for everyone.
Driven by the associations Autour du Fil and Imagine et Partage, decorations made of fabric flowers and pompoms, crafted from collected materials, will adorn the trees on the town hall square. The Place des Héros will be temporarily renamed Place des Héroïnes. These spaces, colored for Pink October, will be visible from the end of September.
Screening is also everyone's business!
The highlight of this mobilization effort will be a festive solidarity evening on Friday, October 6th. Starting at 6 PM, attendees can visit information booths, enjoy various activities including dance and singing, and partake in light refreshments.
