The "Ping Santé" workshop, organized by France Alzheimer and the local CRTT club, brought together people affected by the disease and their caregivers in La Bastide for a friendly moment of table tennis.

Last Saturday, La Bastide hosted the "Ping Santé" workshop, supported by France Alzheimer and organized under the auspices of the local club, CRTT. With paddles in hand, participants and caregivers shared a convivial moment around table tennis, a sport recognized for its benefits: coordination, concentration, balance, and above all, social connection. A big thank you to the volunteers of the CRTT and the teams from France Alzheimer for their commitment.
This workshop is part of the commitment of the municipality of Canet-en-Roussillon, a signatory of the "Ville aidante Alzheimer" charter alongside France Alzheimer 66. The objective is to enable people affected by the disease and their loved ones to continue to fully enjoy life in their town.
Throughout the year, Canet-en-Roussillon offers Memory Cafés, respite breaks, special events like World Alzheimer's Day, and adapted activities such as the Ping Santé workshop.
