The Municipality of Sorède hosted the mobile team of the French Blood Establishment (E.F.S.) in its function room on September 10, 2026. This event resulted in the collection of 41 blood donations.
A total of 45 donors came forward, demonstrating a generous and voluntary act essential for meeting the needs of hospitals and clinics in the region. These donations contribute to the care of patients, post-operative individuals, and victims of road accidents.
“"On this occasion, it is with pleasure that we welcomed: 45 donors and collected 41 blood donations, i.e. 45 volunteers, who, through their generous and voluntary gesture, help us to meet the numerous requests from hospitals and clinics in our region, which, in addition to caring for the sick and operated, must also cope with road accidents. We hope that we can once again count on your collaboration during our next collection and thank you for the interest you show in blood transfusion."
The E.F.S. expressed its hope to be able to count on the collaboration of the residents again during future collections and thanked the public for their interest in blood transfusion.
