The Julie-Cerny intercommunal shelter, located at Les Trois Bornes in PAMIERS, is hosting an open day on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This 4th edition, focused on discovery, exchange, and animal welfare, will allow visitors to meet the teams and volunteers, learn about the shelter's operations, and get to know the dogs and cats currently housed there.
On-site professionals will offer advice and introduce the shelter's residents. The team will also assist individuals considering adoption, emphasizing the importance of responsible adoption tailored to each animal's needs.
In partnership with Cani Folie Association, several activities will be offered: canine sports (canicross, CaniVTT, etc.), homemade treat preparation, and daily dog care advice from Zen’Canitude. A photo shoot will also be available, with free donations benefiting the shelter.
These activities aim to introduce dog owners to various activities to practice with their companions, while also providing practical advice on nutrition, care, and well-being in a friendly atmosphere.
