In response to the extreme violence that occurred this weekend in numerous municipalities, the Association of Mayors of France and Intercommunalities (AMF) is calling for a gathering of all citizens in front of each Town Hall. The municipality of Mazères will join this call in front of the Town Hall at 12:00 PM.
This gathering is intended as a moment of solidarity, responsibility, and unity. It demonstrates an attachment to the values that bring citizens together: respect, freedom, fraternity, and living together.
The AMF emphasizes that town halls are the common homes for all citizens and calls for a collective defense of dialogue, civil peace, and respect for democracy. The association encourages a united and supportive mobilization to uphold republican values.
