The local branch of the Souvenir Français organized its annual ceremony at the Saint-Girons cemetery on November 1st, in memory of the fallen for France.

The ceremony, which took place on November 1st, brought together the Mayor of Saint-Girons Jean-Noël Vigneau, the sub-prefect of Saint-Girons Sophie Pauzat, as well as civil and military authorities, flag bearers, and former combatants. They were welcomed by Richard de Meritens, the President of the Souvenir français, in front of the tomb of soldiers who died for France.
Following the speeches delivered by the representatives, wreaths of flowers were laid as a sign of respect. A minute of silence and the singing of La Marseillaise marked the conclusion of this moment of collective remembrance.
