The Communauté de Communes du Pays Rignacois announces the return of the Rallye du Pays Rignacois for a new edition on Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8, 2026. This sporting event, part of the Coupe de France des rallyes, aims not only to offer a motorsport spectacle but also to boost the local area, mobilizing organizers, volunteers, associations, and local authorities.
The event also provides an opportunity for visitors to discover the region and enjoy its shops, cafes, restaurants, and accommodations. The Communauté de Communes is providing practical information for residents and visitors to help prepare for this sporting weekend.
The smooth running of the competition will necessitate temporary traffic and parking measures. In Rignac, from Saturday, November 7, at 8 AM to Sunday, November 8, at 8:30 PM, traffic will be regulated around the Place du Foirail, Avenue du Ségala, Rue du Barry, and Rue de la Peyrade. Parking bans will also affect several areas in the town center and near the event spaces.
On Sunday, November 8, additional road closures will be in effect during the race. From 6:30 AM until approximately 6:30 PM, several communal roads and rural paths outside the town will be affected. From 7 AM until the end of the stages, certain sections of departmental roads will be closed, with diversions in place. Road users are advised to plan their journeys and respect the temporary signage.
The Communauté de Communes du Pays Rignacois wishes all crews an excellent rally and thanks those involved in the organization. Residents and visitors are encouraged to consult the official rally website for the program, routes, and access conditions.
