As part of the territory's Climate Plan revision, the Community of Communes Grand Sud Tarn-et-Garonne invites its residents to calculate their carbon footprint through an online questionnaire, from October 28 to November 28.

The agents of Grand Sud Tarn-et-Garonne have already set an example by participating in a measurement of their carbon footprint. With a 35% participation rate, their average stands at 7.9 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent per year, slightly lower than the French national average of 8.2 tonnes.
The main emission sources identified among the agents are transportation and food. The initiative emphasizes that understanding one's habits is a crucial first step towards taking concrete action against climate change.
The operation also takes the form of an inter-municipal challenge. Each municipality is encouraged to mobilize its residents to take up this challenge. The questionnaire, which is quick (maximum 10 minutes) and anonymous, is accessible via a link specific to each commune.
This initiative is part of the fight against climate change and the preparation of the territory for future consequences. As the message highlights, "every gesture counts" in preserving our environment.
