The operation, aiming to bring warmth and comfort to those in need as the year-end holidays approach, hopes to collect over 600 boxes this year. The principle is simple: fill a surprise box with five different items.
Participants are invited to include in the box: a warm item (hat, scarf), a food item (chocolates, biscuits), a beauty or hygiene product, a leisure item (book, game), and a kind note. It is requested to specify if the box is intended for a man, a woman, a child under 10, or a young person over 10.
To participate, simply collect an empty box starting November 21 at the Agglobus agency, partner collection points, or at Rodez markets, fill it with care, and then drop it off before December 19 at one of the collection points. The boxes will then be collected and checked by the Ferdinand Foch high school before being handed over to Secours Populaire for redistribution.
A Christmas minibus decorated with the operation's colors will also be present at Rodez markets throughout the collection period. Agglobus reminds everyone that residents, families, friends, and colleagues can all participate in this initiative.
