Among the collected waste were over 3,000 cigarette butts, as well as 17 kg of recyclable waste collected in yellow bags and 16.3 kg in black bags. 7 kg of glass were also sorted.
On this occasion, Vanessa Hamel, coordinator for the SYDOM, reiterated essential sorting guidelines and daily good practices for waste management.
The mayor warmly thanked all participants for their mobilization towards a cleaner city and a preserved environment. The Mission Locale and the Recyclerie also contributed to this civic initiative.
